Buffaure is an easy entry point in Trentino to the famous Sellaronda circuit and to all the places connected to it (from the Gardena Valley to the Alpe di Siusi, from Badia valley to Arabba). It guarantees absolute fun on the slopes and it is one of the Dolomiti Superski <\/strong>areas, a hallmark of quality and reliability for the service provided. Five ski lifts connected to those of Ciampac \/Alba di Canazei for over 20 km of slopes <\/strong>which include tracks for all tastes. In addition to the many red runs, such as the much appreciated \u201cPanorama\u201d, there is the renowned \u201cVulcano\u201d<\/strong> black run with a 38% gradient at its steepest points, a height difference of 566 meters and a total length of 2.5 km. It has always attracted skiers in search of a moment of pure adrenaline, even from far away. <\/p>\n

You will constantly be surrounded by the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites<\/strong>, from the Sella Massif, with the unmistakable Piz Bo\u00e8, to Catinaccio, from Marmolada to the mythical Sassolungo and Sassopiatto : a breathtaking 360-degrees panorama.<\/p>\n

The view becomes a perfect setting to make your first steps on the snow thanks to the blue slope and ski school area<\/strong> located at the arrival point of the Pozza- Buffaure cable car. Here the magic carpets will allow the less experienced to become familiar with skiing and snowboarding, autonomously or with the help of the instructors from the local Ski school Vajolet Pozza di Fassa<\/strong>. between tunnels, obstacles and the ever- present silhouettes of the Salvan characters. <\/p>\n

New for winter 2026-2027: the new Buffaure-Col de Valvacin gondola lift<\/strong>! The chairlift built in 1997 has indeed been replaced by a modern 10-seater lift, which guarantees more efficient performance and cutting-edge technology. Now, in less than 4 minutes, you can reach the 2,354 meters of Col de Valvacin and enjoy your skiing day at Buffaure even more. <\/p>\n
